What’s the link between PowerPoint and carving? None, as far as I could see, for the longest time. Then I read a slew of books and quite a bit on the net about PowerPoint’s reputation. Personally, I don’t think PPT is bad at what it does, it is simply not used properly. Basically both PPT and masks are props. They are not central to the story. The speaker/actor/dancer should be prime. The masks helps create an illusion of reality. The slide helps expand the audience’s visual perception of concepts presented.
Which is where I came up with the catchy phrase of “digital & traditional storyteller’s artist”.
I’m a nerd and an artist. This helps with technical wizardry and artistic flair.
